According to western governments and media, and consequent popular public opinion, Russia invaded Ukraine, a democratic, freedom-loving, innocent and harmless sovereign nation in February 2022, with no provocation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why would Russia do such a thing? Well, to fulfil Putin’s imperial aspirations to rule and conquer Ukraine. As a first step to invade and dominate the baltic states, Finland, Poland and ultimately the entirety of Europe, including the UK. To fulfil Putin’s autocratic, dictatorial whims. To steal the wealth and resources of Ukraine. To reabsorb Ukraine within the Soviet (oops) Russian Federation. Because Putin is an inhuman madman. It’s a war of aggression (Full stop. Period. No further details required).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s it. Really. That’s the entirety of the ‘argument’ and rationale for western belief. All taken for granted without question, reason, debate or analysis. It’s all we are ever told.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Russia BAD, Ukraine GOOD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this preschool-level understanding, the US, EU, UK and NATO have pumped billions in cash and weapons into Ukraine, enforced vast tranches of economic sanctions and undertaken illegal terrorist and piratical activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these arguments the entirety of western media, with one voice, regale us. For these reasons, people wear blue and yellow pins, donate fire-engines to Kyiv, and append ‘Slava Ukraini’ and sunflower emoji’s to social media accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s not a question of the quality of thought on display but that thought itself has been subordinated to conformity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What on earth has happened to us?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone dissenting from this ludicrous narrative, no matter how slightly, is labeled a ‘Putin stooge’ and accused of disseminating ‘Russian talking points’ or ‘Russian mis\/disinformation.’<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn’t matter who you are, famous or obscure, you will be silenced, shadowbanned, ignored, mocked and abused should you but slightly veer from the prescribed narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

History and precedent are to be ignored. Truth is to be ‘fact-checked’ (by the western narrative-peddlers) until it conforms to the narrative. Any evidence to the contrary is to be ignored, no matter how damning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reality itself is now subservient to mere belief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Media outlets from Russia have been banned and silenced. Any non-conforming media outlet, likewise banned and silenced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is only one message. It is not to be questioned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a whole year of this raucous insanity, it’s become crystal clear to me that ‘the west’ controls the narrative so completely that it has become impervious to questioning and lacking any responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outright lies are told, over and over, with shameless impunity and without consequence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have completely abandoned our ethical and moral standards. There is no justice. There is no truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
